En la
práctica clínica, la docencia constituye uno de los logros de la enseñanza de
la medicina, pues garantiza vincular al estudiante desde los primeros años de
la carrera con su desempeño futuro, al permitirle adquirir
experiencia y fortalecer su vocación por la práctica clínica. Se impone que el educando
interiorice desde etapas tempranas que en el ejercicio de su profesión no puede
limitarse a aplicar rigurosamente un procedimiento, pues muchas veces se verá
obligado a valorar datos incongruentes e incluso contradictorios para tomar
decisiones vitales con respecto a la salud de un ser humano temeroso y al mismo
tiempo esperanzado. En este artículo se invita a reflexionar sobre los cambios
ocurridos en el proceso enseñanza-aprendizaje de la asignatura Propedéutica clínica
y, por ende, del método clínico, tanto en Cuba como en otros países.

Teaching
constitutes one of the achievements of medicine in the clinical practice,
because it guarantees to link the student since the first years of the career
to his future performance, as this allows him to acquire experience and to
strengthen his vocation for the clinical practice. It is imposed that the
student understands from early stages that he cannot be limited to apply a
procedure rigorously in the exercise of his profession, because many times he
will be forced to value incongruous and even contradictory data to make vital
decisions with regard to the health of a fearful and at the same time hopeful
human being . This article invites to meditate about
the changes taking place in the process teaching-learning of the subject Clinic
Propaedeutics, and so, of the clinical method, both
