RESUMEN
Se describe el caso de una
paciente de 24 años de edad, que acudió a la consulta de glaucoma por
percatarse de que la pupila de su ojo derecho
era ovalada y estaba desplazada, con cambios de coloración en el iris y
luego desaparición de este. Posteriormente presentó dolor en el globo ocular derecho y disminución
de la visión, sin antecedentes familiares y personales de interés
oftalmológico. Las alteraciones
iridianas y angulares encontradas eran típicas del síndrome
iridocorneoendotelial, caracterizadas por: distorsión pupilar, entropión uveal leve o moderado y
goniosinequias, entre las más frecuentes.

ABSTRACT
The case of a 24- years-old patient that went to the glaucoma outpatient department because she noticed that the pupil of her right eye was oval and displaced, with changes of color in the iris followed by its disappearance. Later on she had pain in the right ocular globe and lowering of vision, without family and personal history of ophthalmologic interest. The iridic and angular alterations found were typical of the iridocorneoendothelial syndrome, characterized by pupilar distortion, mild or moderate uveal entropion and goniosynechias, among the most frequent.
