Policlínico “Ezequiel Miranda Díaz”
Se efectuó un ensayo comunitario (experimental) en el municipio “Julio Antonio Mella” de la provincia de Santiago de Cuba durante el 2007, con la finalidad de medir el nivel de conocimientos del personal médico y de enfermería sobre violencia intrafamiliar y realizar a la vez una intervención educativa para modificarlos favorablemente o ampliarlos, según correspondiese. Los métodos didácticos utilizados y el interés de los prestadores de salud por el asunto permitieron obtener resultados altamente satisfactorios en ese sentido, validados estadísticamente mediante la prueba de Mc Nemar.

A community trial (experimental) was conducted in "Julio Antonio Mella" municipality of Santiago de Cuba province during 2007, with the purpose of measuring the level of the medical and nursing staff's knowledge of domestic violence and performing an educational intervention to improve or modify them favorably according to the case. The didactic methods used and the interest of health providers in this matter allowed to obtain highly satisfactory results in that sense, statistically validated by means of the Mc Nemar test.
